Still Leaving Money On The Table? Or How To Have A Business Without A List

 I often ask myself how do the Internet "gurus" have so much time to send emails almost every other day of the week (not auto-responders). Must be they either outsource the writing, copy "swipe emails", or their business model is simply to keep selling you as much "product" as they can irrespective of whether or not it is a good fit for their members, whom they really do not know. If selling product and membership sites is their passion, that's fine, then they are obligated to keep filling their "catalogs". It's what they do.
 
But ask yourself this: how many Internet products have you bought and paid for this past year that have actually replaced your full-time income to the point where you, too, now call yourselves "Internet marketers"? Although there certainly are some breakthroughs, not too many would be my guess. How do I know? Because I'm not receiving Newsletters from YOU! I'm not reading YOUR articles or press releases, seeing YOUR videos, or being offered YOUR products.
 
So, if "the money is in the list" -- remember I taught you that you must clarify this axiom by saying: the money is in the relationship with your list -- why buy into list building programs that will grab your imagination initially with the sole purpose of upselling you into the purchase of even more products later if YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SELL?
 
Oh, you're an Affiliate marketer you say. Or an Affiliate "wannabe". You're just not that active right now because of your job, the saturated market in the niches being sold to you, too much competition, you're not a techie, you discovered how much time and knowledge is really involved, monthly expenses mounted up, etc. Bullcrap! It's all bullcrap.
 
There's two things you NEED: (1) a web host (data center) to handle all your solutions in an easy to understand, user friendly way, and (2) YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE BASICS OF HOW TO SELL!
 
Nothing happens until a sale is made, online or offline.  
 
It's been more than two weeks since I last blogged here...I feel bad about that, truly. But I've been busy DOING what I talk about with you in my Newsletters: consulting with fee-based clients setting up their lead capture pages, websites, and online marketing and traffic generation campaigns. You don't need a product yourself, you don't need a website. All you need is to learn how to spend a few hours a week winning LOCAL business in your local market, and turning everything over to us if you don't have the time, knowledge or desire to do all the backend creatives, programming and marketing yourself.
