Review of Arbitrage Conspiracy Unleashed - A MUST READ!

(If I am advised this is a copyrighted image, I will remove it immediately. I just felt it is relevant to this Review.)

"Will the real Aymen of Arbitrage Conspiracy please step forward?"

Any of you old enough to remember that line from a famous TV Show called, "What's My Line?"

Kinda funny, don't you think? Maybe "Is it real or is it butter?" works also, you decide.

Well on Wednesday evening, November 11th, Shawn Casey and Aymen put on a terrific Webinar, very well presented. Look, I'm a big fan of both these Internet marketers, hold them in high esteem, and as most of you know, I am an Arbitrage Conspirator myself, having attended the original event just about one year ago in Las Vegas, where I met Aymen and his "gang".

I took the original 13 week course, won a 50" Plasma TV as a prize, and consistently praised Aymen and Emmanuel for over-delivering on the content provided. But I was a little troubled by some of the Webinar presentation materials and statements, including the image at the top of this post. Not because it isn't true, I have no way of independently confirming that, and neither do you, but more importantly, it seems to not conform with the new FTC regulations going into effect in just two (2) weeks.

In all fairness, and giving them the benefit of the doubt, they do, in fact have these two weeks to still make changes, right after, it seems, you have plunged into your $1,997 purchase. Purposeful? Again, you decide...it made me uncomfortable, but that is just my opinion. Yes, those now famous "scarcity" triggers do work!

But since Aymen and gang are now advised by Mike Young, a well-known Internet attorney -- you'll see his name in the website footer -- perhaps it's best that you read his own copyrighted publication. I'm not affiliated with Mike Young, although I do know him, and make no affiliate commission if you order his package. That's not why I posted it here. The Report is in its entirety with no changes, so I do not believe I will violate any copyright rules.

Once again, after you have read this Report, you decide where the violations are, if any.

So here is what happened on the call, just as a couple of real life examples. First of all, the slides shown during the audio clearly presented a fine photo of Shawn Casey, BUT the photo of Aymen was "shadowed" out, so as to be completely unrecognizable. Now, besides the fact that half the Internet marketing world knows exactly what Aymen looks like -- remember the 2008 Las Vegas event -- and since then he has made many personal appearances at other "underground" (heh-heh) events and excursions, is this just a marketing "tactic", or is it a Deceptive Trade Practice?

Another decision for you to make, or, perhaps the FTC will make it at some time in the future, especially if there are complainants who lose money and have difficulty getting refunds. I am not an attorney, but I believe the fact that Synergy Online Holdings, the entity that now owns and operates Arbitrage Conspiracy is in England, will not shield Aymen and associates from an agency action should an aggressive FTC attorney seeking to make his bones -- the government needs money right now and the more Aymen keeps telling us he has, the bigger target he becomes, imho. There is nexus here and that was a source of complaints in the original course. Why? Read on...

Firstly, in the future, unlike what was done in the past, if we hear about the winners, the people who made money with the system, we will also have to see strong disclosure statements re the non-winners. And statements like, "Not all users will do this well, these results are atypical, etc., " will not be acceptable. They will have to be much more specific as you'll discover after reading the report above. Like 75%+ of the people do lose all their money, make no money, statements like that, and supportive documents will have to be available...no more photo-shopped screen shots.

Secondly, it appears that all the video testimonials on the new sales page itself are from the old program, not exactly in conformance with the product being offered if, indeed, it is a new product. And, of course, as it relates to testimonial disclosure specifically, that has clearly changed in the new FTC rules.

Thirdly, let's be clear. If you are seeking to make anywhere even close to the type money Aymen is talking about, you MUST maintain a "portfolio" of CPA campaigns, not be just an occasional user of the CPA networks if you, as a newbie, even get into some good ones. Not as easy as it sounds, but doable. This means the only way to do this effectively, you will have to purchase certain additional automation software. Yes, Aymen is an affiliate of these products, and you will get discounts and bonuses, but be prepared for additional upfront costs in excess of the $1,997 for the Arbitrage Conspiracy Unleashed course. Maybe something like another $1,000 in total. Without this, it's really not possible to put in the hours to build ramp, track and monitor 100+ offers at the same time...unless you're working 24 hours a day. And most of you are part-timers at first, right?

Why did I say 100+ offers? Well, here is the major deceptive practice that both Aymen and Shawn Casey allowed on the Webinar...I was very disappointed in this because these guys have generally shown better integrity in the past, and I'm  troubled when greed and hubris cloud one's judgment. It has to do with the Guarantee made and the manner in which Aymen presented it. What he said, and Shawn reinforced, was that if AFTER 90 days of using his system, you not only did not make back your $1,997 purchase price, but also were not in PROFITS over and above that, he would refund in full the $1,997 PLUS $1,000 out of his own pocket, for a total of $2,997 (I did that math). It appeared on the Webinar as an unconditional guarantee where Aymen said he believed so strongly in the program, he was taking on all the risk of getting you in.

However, if you take the time to scroll down to the bottom of the sales page, after scrolling past FOUR "BUY NOW" buttons (depending on which purchase option you would choose), and before getting to read what is written on the sales page, you would not discover the dramatic difference between what was said verbally on the Webinar -- to me the "contract" made to the buyers -- and what the "requirement" is to get this 90 day guarantee. Here is what the sales page says:

"So if at any time during the first 90 days (from your original date of purchase) you can show me you've run at least 180 campaigns using the system and NOT made a profit (anything over your $2,000 investment), then I will not only give you a FULL REFUND...I will also pay you an extra $1,000 above the cost of the program."

180 Campaigns? How many of you caught that?

Isn't that like 60 different campaigns PER MONTH?
How many of you are prepared for that? How many of you can do that as part-timers? See what I mean about the necessity of additional automation software that you will have to purchase and learn how to use? Ask yourself why was this not disclosed on the November 11th Webinar? I could be wrong, but if someone can tell me why this was not a blatant Deceptive Trade Practice, I would be most interested in hearing about it and will gladly post such response on this website and blog.

What makes matters even worse is the that when you click on the link in the footer that says "RETURN POLICY", a statement prepared by the same Mike Young appears -- yes, their attorney -- a completely DIFFERENT guarantee. Wow, this is really nuts! Here is what the lawyer says:

"...If for some reason you're dissatisfied at any time during the first 31to 90 days after purchase, simply return all products we shipped to you, delete all digital video, audio, and text files you obtained from us, and show us that you have run at least 168 CPA (cost-per-action)campaigns using the Arbitrage Conspiracy System. If you haven't made a profit (anything over the $1,997 full purchase price for the System),we'll refund 100% of the System's purchase price that you paid plus an additional $500 simply for having tried the System."

Okay, 12 less campaigns, still a lot, but the lawyer says the refund payment over the purchase price is only $500, NOT $1,000. And, of course, in both cases, you can be sure they will have to review all your documents, payments, adword PPC ad groups, CPA networks, etc. I'm sure they will now clarify this so you'll know who to believe and attempt to chalk it up as an error to just not updating one of the pages in their haste to make the program available -- yes, I already explained why there may be some haste here --  but when you're asking people to put a few thousand dollars on the line, and you're out the money on your credit cards until the CPA networks pay YOU, which will be weeks after you have your money out, and after bragging about how one of the big improvements in the new program is increased support staffing, one would think there would have been an extra pair of proofreader eyeballs to catch this most obvious discrepancy.

I'm a very detailed oriented entrepreneur, always dotting all the "i's" and crossing all the "t's" -- just ask some of The Trump Network independent marketers with whom I work to help grow their businesses, save them money, and run profitably, although I, myself, am not a member of TTN -- 15 years of Internet marketing and a decade of running Internet businesses across two continents interacting with thousands of "customers", including a presence in England, has taught me the right behaviors for success, and this error would have blood shooting out of my eyes. But, again, something else for you to think about, right?

If you bought the program in the last couple of days based on this Webinar presentation without the knowledge presented to you here in this website blog, my recommendation, to protect yourself, would be to CANCEL immediately and await further clarification, and get it IN WRITING!
Once that occurs, you can always go back and repurchase the program if you feel comfortable with all the facts and the all the actors involved here.

Oh, there is another thing presented during the webinar AND on the sales page that I found very ill-advised. Especially following that report they recently put out on "Sex, Drugs, and Lazy Internet Millionaires." It is the repeated use of the word "Cartel". It is quite difficult to buy into Aymen's claims to "mindset" as sincere when these type words are used. When you close your eyes, and say the word "Cartel" to yourself, what images appear in your mind? Do you want to be part of a "Cartel"?

I looked up the word in Wikipedia.  Here is the definition:

"
A cartel is a formal (explicit) agreement among competing firms. It is a formal organization of producers that agree to coordinate prices, marketing and production. Cartels usually occur in an oligopolistic industry, where there is a small number of sellers and usually involve homogeneous products. Cartel members may agree on such matters as price fixing, total industry output, market shares, allocation of customers, allocation of territories, bid rigging, establishment of common sales agencies, and the division of profits or combination of these. The aim of such collusion is to increase individual members' profits by reducing competition. Competition laws forbid cartels. Identifying and breaking up cartels is an important part of the competition policy in most countries, although proving the existence of a cartel is rarely easy, as firms are usually not so careless as to put agreements to collude on paper."

But Aymen and gang just did.
Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling that in this new FTC environment, government bureaucrats being the way they are, this is not exactly the type word I would stick under their nose. And this course wants to teach you copywriting?

And if all this wasn't enough, if you didn't Click on the link in the Footer that says "EARNINGS DISCLAIMER", here is what it says:

"For Serious Business Owners Only - Not Consumers or Hobbyists"

"PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OFFERED FOR SALE ON THIS WEBSITE ARE INTENDED FOR PURCHASE AND USE BY BUSINESSES ONLY. WE ARE NOT OFFERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSUMERS. ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR USE BY EXISTING BUSINESS OWNERS AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT.THEY ARE NOT INTENDED FOR, NOR SHOULD THEY BE USED BY, CONSUMERS."

"IF YOU ARE UNEMPLOYED, AN INDIVIDUAL LOOKING FOR SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME OR ANEW HOBBY, OR ARE A SIMILAR TYPE OF CONSUMER, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES FROM THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT INTENDED FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE. WE DO NOT SELL GET-RICH-QUICK SCHEMES AND WE DO NOT WANT OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES MISTAKEN OR MISUSED FOR SUCH."

Why was this not disclosed on the Webinar? It's different than the first time around. Something more, once again, for you to think about when answering the question at the top of the sales page, "Are You Ready?" Perhaps a better question is, are you even a qualified buyer?

Here's a cool suggestion for you. And it will be less than a $10 investment. If you're looking at AC, I know you can easily afford this...and, man, are you going to be surprised by what my friend Chuck Mullaney is providing here at this price. I dare say, you'll be blown away re "CPA secrets" and making money with CPA networks...for less than 10 bucks, a complete "no brainer".

Arbitrage Conspiracy Blog Update For Hurricane Season

Wow, it has been quite a while since I updated this Blog. The Arbitrage Conspiracy training course ended some time ago, and since then there have been many CPA copycat courses launched to newbies by IM-ers to take advantage of this sizzling hot field of making money online. Aymen and Emmanuel overdelivered, and if you followed the step-by-step training with dedication, you should be benefitting with positive results right now.

I myself have been keeping busy with consulting work, writing, CPA offers, Clickbank products, and some specific affiliate marketing with partners I trust to bring you value, not rehashed, regurgitated products rolled out over and over with different names, headers and footers. If you are a subscriber to my private Newsletter, you have been keeping yourself well informed (even about my son's recent wedding in Washington, DC.)

Additionally, in a hype filled industry full of bloated promises and lots of garbage, I am also working on soon publishing my own Online Wealth Guide, the only resource I hope you will ever need to stuff cash into your pockets as you continue to build and develop your online business. Or, if you haven't yet started your part-time or full-time online business, this will be designed just for you!

In the meantime, with the storm season beginning here in the southeast U.S., I am reminded of the many horror stories I heard many years ago of lost data files, crashed hardrives, stolen laptops, hackers, and failed disaster recovery plans when struck by hurricanes. Katrina will forever be brandished in our minds. It motivated me to develop, build and launch BackvaultDirect, then a remote online backup subscription service.

The issues here dealt with downloading software, which had to be learned -- creating many customer service calls -- lost passwords, file extensions that could not be backed up, lack of interoperability amongst several computers, and all those software programs that also could not be backed up. Many of these same problems still exist today relative to remote online backup, although there are certainly some good companies out there. Example: Symantec. Be that as it may, you MUST have a backup solution for your computers, that's an absolute. If you do not, you are taking on risk that will surely have you screaming with despair at some point in the future. The statistics are not in your favor, trust me.

So, since I have been traveling, and preparing for the hurricane season, I discovered what I believe is the coolest backup solution ever. No software to download, a hardrive the size of a credit card, and devices capable of backing up EVERYTHING, no exceptions, and can be used on any, or as many, computers as you desire. Imagine, 16GB to 1TB! And even if the internet is down, which is what happens during disasters, I can still do my work and my backups. No lost photo files, music files, video files, software programs, document extensions of any kind and length, and so simple, a child can use it.

As a matter of fact, I am so impressed with this product, even though I sold my old Netspace business in 2006, which developed BackvaultDirect, I did manage to hold onto ownership of the domain name after the sale, and now have it pointing to this singular best automatic backup solution. No software to download, NO MONTHLY (or annual) FEES! Just pick a product that suits your needs, and use it forever. Yes, it is very inexpensive, and foolproof, guaranteed. You won't be pulling your hair out later, when you least expect it, as loss of data is a totally preventable situation. You have insurance, don't you? Why? To mitigate risk. Same thing here. YOU MUST HAVE IT!

So, you can click on the BackvaultDirect link as this site is being built out, and clickthrough from there, or in one click you can go directly to banner:

and look for the "Deal Of The Day".
I recommend you do this.

Be sure to return to this blog now from time to time to check on the status of my Online Wealth Guide, and receive FREE tools, tips and tricks to improve your online business, and your lifestyle.

Important FTC Message from CPA Network(s)

In case you missed this update on Friday, March 6, 2009, I am reprinting it here. My advice is that if you are running CPA "grant" offers, you review this carefully and if you are not fully compliant with these FTC guidelines, you stop the campaigns immediately.
On any CPA network. Check with your Affiliate Managers if any questions.

All ROI Rocket publishers must comply with the guidelines that are outlined at www.ftc.gov.  We  will be forced to terminate any affiliate that is not in compliance with these guidelines, and  will be considered fraudulent, therefore not eligible for any payout from ROI Rocket.com in the future.   While the FTC site is the ultimate resource for guidelines, here are just a few highlights of what your websites/promotions may NOT do:

  • Promote a grant advertiser and state that the advertised website will help you to qualify for a share of federal stimulus or recovery package money
  • Promote the website stating the fact that or alluding to the fact that the website has government approval and is somehow endorsed by the President or Vice President of the United States of America
  • Use any images, likeness, video, or voice of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden
  • Guaranteeing that the user will be awarded access to grants because of their purchase of website's products or services

This Blog was setup for the introduction and launch of the Arbitrage Conspiracy program. As you know, I rarely get behind much of what is being promoted on the Internet by the product launch "guru's" as most of it is nicely packaged, but rarely offers real value for the LONG-TERM. There are, of course, exceptions, and Arbitrage Conspiracy is clearly one such example.

I'm in the program, and for someone who has been doing website creation and online marketing for 15 years, I can confidently say I have learned much from Aymen and Emmanuel, and we're only half-way into the training. They have exceeded my expectations and if you did not get into the course, you missed a good one.

The good news is I will continue to deliver excellent value to my subscribers whenever and wherever I find it. Not easy to sort through the garbage out here, but I'm your scout and will only give you a "heads-up" if I have prescreened the offer and believe it will add value to you and/or compliment what you are currently doing.

So, for those in the Arbitrage Conspiracy training, you are receiving direct messages and updates, plus some terrific tools and resources, from the AC team. That makes the original purpose of this public Blog less relevant and, therefore, I will not be posting new AC information here after today.

It will, however, go to the Subscribers on my Private Newsletter. If you're not on that list, I urge you to signup now. For example, if you want to generate insane traffic at will, go to:
